Rather than knocking out large numbers of houses at a poor standard we prefer to concentrate on one off new builds to a high standard without rushing and cutting corners.
By far the most popular type of house construction in the highlands and islands is timber frame. We can make the kits ourselves on site which can give you a more bespoke design or we can erect and build a timber frame home from a kit manufacturer of your choice. As with all our work we undertake our focus is on quality and attention to detail. For example, all our new builds are finished to a high quality plaster skim (as opposed to tape and filled) this is certainly unique in the highlands and islands, but gives an overall better quality and finish.
However some people prefer traditionally built houses with their solid plaster walls. This refers to brick and block houses or double block and roughcasted or rendered as would be here in the highlands. We can build by this method if you prefer.
Should you wish to undertake a self build and want a builder to help you do certain elements of the build or to work along beside you then this can be arranged too. For example if you just want the house wind and water tight and to finish the rest yourself then we can accommodate this.
